{Reflect} Resolutions

January 2, 2012 § 3 Comments

The New Year celebrations have come & gone.  It’s 2012, so now what?  Have you made your New Year’s resolutions?

I’ve given this idea a bit more thought.  If you are like me, N.Y. resolutions are difficult to keep.  And if you haven’t written them down, they are hard to remember. I have decided on only one wish for my 2012.

What is my one wish you might ask?  G.R.O.W.  I want to look back on 2012 and confidently say that I’ve grown as a person.  This idea is encompassing of all things that make up me.

I want to look back & know that I’ve grown in relationships, creatively, professionally, physically & spiritually.  Part of growing is stretching.  Do you stretch?   Do you try out-of your-comfort-zone type-things?  Life hasn’t been given to us to just waste away.

I came across a quote by Lotta of Hey Look Oy.  She said someone once told her…”You don’t need an invitation to your own life.”  With that being said, I’m excited to see what 2012 brings & how I grow.

So it’s day 2 of 2012.  How will I GROW today?

    Hey there friend 🙂
I love your blog, stopped in today and so glad I did!
I grew a lot in 2011. I find that most of my growth started with hardship, refinement and sometimes finding myself in a place I didn’t want to be. If God brings you any surprises this year (and I hope it’s only in blessings!) , don’t get knocked off your feet. Stand firm. And I learned that Heaven stands for me when I fall. He has been faithful!
Love to you! And here’s to a Happy 2012!

  • That is a great New Year’s resolution!
