{Fashion} Millinery Movement

I don’t know about you, but my favorite part of formal celebrations is playing dress up! Did you watch The Royal Wedding?  What did you find most captivating?  Was it Kate, her dress, the fairytale, or the millinery work?

The Royal Wedding set the stage for the “Best of the Best” hats & fascinators.  The day was a celebration of love & love of fashion.  These show-stopping millinery pieces catapulted a fashion movement & set the trend.  And with all eyes on Kate Middleton, this look is here to stay!

For those who know me, you might be surprised to find out that I have a hat & fascinator fascination.  My millinery collection began on one of my trips to Italy.  I purchased two beautiful headpieces & haven’t stopped since.  I will save  my personal collection for another post! {Wink-wink}

My brother is getting married next month & I’ve been searching diligently for the perfect fascinator to wear to this black tie affair.  I’ve been unsuccessful in finding the right piece, so I’ve enlisted my dear friend, Sara to help me create something.  I will keep you posted!
